Cooling & Radiator Services

Everything that keeps your engine at the right temperature — the radiator, the pump, the thermostat, the fans, the heater core and the A/C condenser. One shop, one bench, forty years of doing just this.

Everything cooling, nothing you didn’t ask for

Most shops treat the cooling system as a sideline between oil changes and brake jobs. We built the whole place around it. When your temperature gauge climbs, the problem is almost never just “the radiator” — it is a chain of parts, and the trick is knowing which link actually broke. That is the part forty years teaches you and a parts-store code reader never will.

Here is what rolls through the bays on a normal week:

  • Radiator recore & repair — rod-outs, tank re-solder, and full re-cores for copper-brass units a lot of shops send to the scrap pile.
  • Radiator replacement — aluminum-plastic units supplied and installed, pressure-tested before you leave.
  • Water pumps — the quiet cause of half the “runs hot in traffic” calls we get.
  • Thermostats & housings — cheap part, big consequences when it sticks shut.
  • Cooling fans & fan clutches — electric fans, clutch fans, and the relays that run them.
  • Heater cores & no-heat repair — including the dash-out jobs nobody enjoys quoting.
  • A/C condensers — the cooler up front that takes the first rock off the highway.
  • Coolant flushes & hoses — the maintenance that keeps the expensive stuff from happening.
  • Overheating diagnosis — we find the cause before we sell you a cure.

Ballpark pricing

Everybody wants a number, so here are honest ranges. What your truck actually costs depends on the parts it takes and how buried they are — a water pump on a four-cylinder is an afternoon; the same pump behind a timing cover on a V8 is a different animal. We will give you the exact figure after we look, and nothing moves until you okay it.

Parts we stand behind

We are not loyal to a logo — we are loyal to parts that come back fixed and stay fixed. For most jobs that means a quality aftermarket core or a reman unit we have had good luck with; for the oddball old iron it often means re-coring what you already own, because nobody makes it new anymore. Every repair that leaves here carries our 12-month workmanship warranty on top of whatever the parts carry.
